01 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied with FreeBacktest for any reason, request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. No questions asked.
The public checkout is not open yet, so nothing can be charged today. This policy applies to every payment from the day it opens.
02 How to request a refund
Email privacy@freebacktest.app from the address on your account, with REFUND in the subject. That is all we need — the address is enough to find the payment.
Refunds are processed by our payment provider and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Never send card numbers. We do not have them, cannot use them, and do not want them in an inbox.
03 Cancelling, and how it differs from a refund
Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves you the time you already paid for. Your plan stays active until the end of that period, then the account returns to the free plan.
A refund gives you the money back instead of the time: the paid plan ends when the refund is issued.
Either way, nothing you made is deleted. Your drawings, your rooms, your journal and your account stay exactly where they are. What changes is how much history the account can see and what it can create from then on — never what it already holds. If you subscribe again later, everything is still there.
04 Try before you buy
There is a free plan, it needs no card, and it is not a trial — it does not expire. You can place simulated orders, keep a journal and save drawings to your account, for as long as you like. Today nothing on it is counted or capped.
When paid plans launch, the free plan will allow 30 backtests a day — a backtest being one setup, so pausing a replay and picking it up tomorrow never costs another one, and nothing you start ever expires. Free accounts will keep the full history on 3-day, weekly and monthly charts, a year on daily charts, and about 400 candles on each intraday timeframe — the last 17 days on hourly and 36 hours on 5-minute. A paid plan adds the rest — six years of history, back to January 2020.
05 Who takes the money
Payments are handled by a merchant of record: a company that sells the subscription to you on our behalf, charges your card, and is responsible for collecting and paying the tax on it. They also provide customer service for billing questions and handle returns.
Their name, not ours, is what appears on your card statement. If you see a line you do not recognise, email us and we will tell you which account and date it belongs to.
Prices are in US dollars. Your exact total, including any tax, is shown at checkout before you pay; nothing is added after that. A refund includes the tax.
